Class 3

Good news and bad news..... The good news is that I found a class 3 patient today and I was able to take 12 PAX. The bad news is that again I didn't get to scaling. It's getting frusterating. Patients (the virtue) has never been one of my strong points. I am looking forward to finding some 1B's.

Progression??

Well, I found a class 2 patient today however, I felt like I accomplished absolutely nothing! I only made it as far as OD today. I know it will get better w/ time but after today I feel like I'm getting nowhere.

Class 2

Well, my father-in-law was in today. He had some interesting sores on his gums that we are not sure what to think of. He has exostosis and mand tori. That was fun to see. He ended up being a class 2 so I just scaled 1 quad today & will finish him up after we learn the ultrasonic scaler. What fun!
P.S. 18 weeks and counting.

Well... I finished my first patient today. It took me longer than I would have liked it to though to scale 3 quads. I was trying too hard. It will get better w/ time.

First Day Back

Well... we're back! It was good that we didn't have any patients today. It takes a while to get re-oriented. I'm looking forward to seeing patients and getting more practice. See ya tomorrow!
