CLasses

Today we discussed the differnt classifications. It was good to learn but I will be looking it up again for sure. It was good to do some more scaling. It is coming... Halloween party today! Yeah!! I'm hungry, see you there!

Posterior Scaling

Today was fun, yet interesting... getting the angles and fulcrums down is a challenge. I was getting more comfortable w/ it by the end of class though. I'm looking forward to the day when I can say "I remember when this was hard". See ya monday!

TV!

Today was good! The whole channel 2 deal was fun! I was able to pass off 3 PE's today, it feels good to be ahead again. I got to practice scaling again, that was good. I learned to turn the scaler more @ the line-angle. That explains why I was making Shandee bleed so much. I am getting more comfortable with it.
FYI:We start week 7 tomorrow!

The appointment

Today we started at the begining of the appointment & went as far as anterior scaling. It was good to do things in the order we are supposed to. I'm getting more comfortable with things so that is a good sign! Practice, Practice, Practice!

I want my explorer back!

Today we got to scale the anteriors. Oh what fun! I really feel like a fish out of water! Poor Shandee... I was scaling & we found some calculus so Prof. Costly told me to be more agressive, so I was. Then she came back & said I was too agressive. Needless to say, I torchured Shandee. However, she did get me back.

Learning the scalers

Today was a progressive day. It was good to look at and learn a little bit about our scalers. It was also helpful to do an apt from beginning to the point we've learned. Up until now, we've just done what we learned that day. It was better this way. I'm looking forward to scaling on Monday! See ya then.

Disclosing

Hi all! Today was a fun day! We got to use disclosing agent & turn our mouths blue. It was a blast until I got my PFI score back. I think I need to use a different kind of tooth brush, or something! I'll blame it on the tooth brush. I brush my little guys teeth every day but it is a totally different story brushing an adult in your chair. I didn't have time to probe today so I'll catch up on Wed. Have a great day!

Oh What Fun

Today was fun. I found it not so easy to find resin fillings. The drawing was fun. It may take a while to memorize all the symbols. I passed off 2 PE's today. Thay was good. My sealants on my premolars have come off & the one on #32 may need replaced. I have decalcification on several teeth & one that needed recalcified, so I did a floride treatment today & will do another one next week. Have a great weekend!

More Probing!

WOW! Today was a fun day. Probing isn't all that bad, kinda. I got through the full mouth pretty fast. I feel pretty comfortable with it. I'm not sure I'm pushing hard enough though. Whan instructor Carter probed me to check, it wasn't comfortable at all & she made me bleed in several places. (Maybe it was because she was having a bad morning.)(HE HE) Well... have a fabulous day :)
